Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to a Private Lesson?

Bring your dog on a leash with a flat collar or martingale style collar.  You should wear comfortable clothing and be ready to have fun!   Once you arrive we will start working on that weeks goals.  I may use one of my own dogs to demonstrate or for a distraction. After the lesson we may do some dog socialization depending on the dog.  If the weather permits we may be outside for our lesson.

What should I bring to when my dog comes for a board & Train?

Bring food for the duration of their stay in a sturdy plastic bin or brand new bag and any regular medications including any heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.  We will provide a crate, bowl, and place bed for them to lay on along with toys.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check and Venmo.  Services must be paid in full prior to the start of services.

Private Lessons:  We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for all private lessons.   If we receive less than 24-hours notice you will be charged the amount of the scheduled lesson or it will be counted against a lesson from your package.   If we arrive and you are not available for the lesson there will be a charge  for the amount of the scheduled lesson.

Board & Train:  We require a written 30-day notice prior to your dog's scheduled drop off date.  There is a $500 nonrefundable deposit.  If we receive notice within the 30 days you will receive the remaining balance.

What Breeds/ages of dogs do you train?

We train all ages and breeds of dogs starting at 8 weeks. Starting your puppy off at an early age will give them a head start.  However, we also believe that you can teach an old dog new tricks.  Dogs of any age and breed can benefit from training so don't hesitate to contact us.
