What to Expect

What to Expect once you contact us

Step 1-Say HELLO

Drop us a line through our contact us page.  Kristy will reach out to set up an initial consultation and answer any questions you may have.

Step 2- Meet and Greet

At the consultation, we will go over a behavioral evaluation of your dog's history and listen to your training goals.  We will work together to develop a training program that will set your dog up for success.

Step 3-Let's get started

Once you are ready to set up your first lesson we will pick a time to meet at an agreed upon location.  This may be your house, a local park or downtown Frederick.  We train in a variety of locations to help your dog learn that no matter where they are they can be calm and confident.

Step 4-Homework

After each lesson, we will go over what to practice until we meet again.  We suggest working with your dog 3-4 times a day in 5-10 minute increments.  Being consistent and practicing what you have learned builds confidence in both you and your dog!

Step 5-Having Fun

While we do understand that learning something new can be stressful at times we also want you and your dog to have fun!  Imagine being able to take your dog to all the places you've wanted to share with them and receiving compliments on their behavior.  As we continue to build a foundation of training you will relax and be more confident in your dog training skills.  Now get busy thinking about the fun place you will go with your dog!

Our Commitment

Consistent Canine is committed to helping dogs and their owners thrive together as a team.  We will encourage and guide you through the training process so that you can achieve your training goals.  Kristy is proud to be a graduate of Catch Canine Trainers Academy as well as several other professional organizations.  Each year she attends events throughout the country to further her education and stay up to date on the latest dog training methodology.
